Event Settings

Allows you to clear all existing trigger events for the current user and to define the default content of the notification messages that are sent when the trigger event occurs.

Clear all the triggered events for the current user.

Select the check box and click the Save icon to clear all currently configured trigger events for the current user.

Default message for the triggered document/folder.

Use the text box to define the default content of the notification messages that are sent when the trigger event occurs. You can further customize these notification messages by configuring the trigger events on the Event Notification page. See Set Up Event Notificationfor instructions.

The value %OBJNAME displays the name of the document or folder that the notification message pertains to.

The value %ACTTYPE displays the type of trigger event that the notification message pertains to.

The value %ACTUSER displays the name of the user that performed the trigger event that the notification message pertains to.

For example, a default notification message configured as:

%OBJNAME has been %ACTTYPE by %ACTUSER.

results in the following notification being sent:

Quarterly Results has been Viewed by Jane Smith.
