What Is Java and How Is It Used Here?

Java is a cross-platform programming language from Sun Microsystems that can be used to create interactive features on Web pages. Java programs (“applets”) can be embedded into HyperText Markup Language (HTML) documents to allow the programs to be executed by Internet Explorer.

Because Java forms are dynamically interpreted, users may have access to forms that have been customized by their administrator with DM Designer\xa8 . If there are multiple search forms available, you can select one from the Search Form Type drop-down menu at the bottom of the Profile tab on the Advanced Search page and then click Switch Forms, to see the page displayed with the new search form.
