Selecting Items in a List

You can select more than one item to work with from an item list such as the Recently Edited, Checked Out, Public Folders, Quick Searches, and Workspaces lists. The toolbar above the item list contains all of the actions that can be performed with the selected item(s).

When you can perform an action, depending on the items selected, the action buttons will be active.

To use the action buttons:

  1. Select the check box next to an item to use the action buttons.

  2. To select each item in a list, click the check box in the item column heading.

Actions that you can only perform on a single selected item are accessed through the More actions menu, or the icons in the rows of each item list. You do not need to select the check box next to a single item you want to work with. You can simply click the icons in the row for the item, or select the More actions menu. You can set which single-document action icons are displayed in item lists in the My Options>Display Options tab under Action Icons.
